Karnataka Home Buyers Forum (KHBF) is an umbrella body of Home Buyers / Flat Owners, Apartment Owners Associations in Karnataka and an activists group seeking to uphold the protection of their rights through social activism. The group was founded by visionary leader and a social activist Mr. Dhananjaya Padmanabhachar in November 2021 and later eminent ex-navy personnel’s, ex-service men, Chartered Accountants, advocates, Apartment owners’ association representatives and many more professionals joined hand together to strengthen RERA, Apartment Owners Association, land rights of apartment owners and bringing awareness to home buyers of their rights.

Karnataka home buyers are deprived of their project land rights due to confusions in the government policies and there are too many irregularities that the forum identified. KHBF is working towards finding solutions to the problem at the policy level and recommending suitable changes to the respective acts by directly interacting with the respective government departments.
KHBF is working with almost all major news paper and print media in publishing the articles to educate home buyers about their rights. KHBF has published more than 400 articles to educate the home buyers about their rights.

KHBF work with investigative journalists and media personnel to find solutions to the home buyers’ problem. Recent one is on KHBF’s discovery of apartment owners having no land rights over the apartment project land has kicked off a strong debate among the home buyers/flat owners’ community and many organizations are thinking towards finding the solutions for the same.
KHBF is becoming a CATALYST in enabling home buyers/flat owners association to fight for their rights in Karnataka.
